An elderly man who had gone missing just before Christmas has been found by a search party in a bushy area some distance from his Workman’s, St. George home.
Fire Service Divisional Officer, Wayne Vaughn, led the Fire Service rescue team that responded after the search party alerted them around 4 45 yesterday afternoon that 73 year old Lionel Gadsby had been located.
Mr. Gadsby’s nephew, David Wood, led the search party.
He says the family is relieved that his uncle is safe after being missing for five days.
