The Democratic Labour Party’s spokesperson on Agriculture, Amoy Gilding-Bourne, is questioning the effectiveness of public protection services for farmers in light of recent thefts of agricultural produce.
Ms. Gilding-Bourne told Starcom Network News that, following concerns raised yesterday by farmers, who believe the perpetrators likely have some knowledge of farming, it is critical that these individuals be identified and exposed.
She also voiced concern over the lack of security surrounding the sale of stolen produce.
