The long-mooted Hyatt and several other hotel projects are to get underway in the New Year.
Dr. William Duguid, senior minister in the Prime Minister’s office in charge of Infrastructural Projects and Town Planning Matters tells Starcom Network News the projects will create hundreds of jobs in the construction phases and thousands more when they open.
Dr. Duguid disclosed that financing issues held up the Hyatt project but he says that matter has been sorted out.
Private investors are said to be putting hundreds of millions of dollars into these hotel projects.
Meantime, it will take a few more months to get the Sam Lord’s Castle Hotel ready for official opening.
