Eight Homes Damaged by Storm Conditions

The assessment continues a day after storm force conditions tore off roofs, flooded roads and downed trees and utility poles in Barbados.

Minister of Home Affairs and Information, Wilfred Abrahams, compares yesterday’s events to the freak storm of a few years ago.

He points out that the intense and frequent lightning strikes were a major concern.

He highlights some of the key lessons learnt.
