Cow itch Forces Closure of Daryll Jordan Secondary

The Daryll Jordan Secondary School in St. Lucy has been forced closed by a cow itch problem with classes to be held on online tomorrow and Monday while the issue is addressed.

President of the Barbados Union of Teachers, Rudy Lovell, tells Starcom Network News that some teachers left the school compound just after nine this morning after they and students were affected by the problem.

He stressed that the situation should not be characterised as a walk out by teaching staff.
