The Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados wants government to resume talks with the unions urgently on the wages and salaries for public sector workers.
President of the Congress, Edwin O’ Neal said while he will not disclose what percent they will demand for their members, he believes it is time now to get back to the table for talks.
He says the increase in the cost of living is becoming unbearable.
Mr O’ Neal believes the challenges, which have forced the delays of the talks should be resolved by now.
