Vaccine mandate for artistes relaxed

New covid-19 Emergency and Directives have gone into effect containing two significant changes in relation to entertainment events.
Attorney General Dale Marshall tells Starcom Network News the changes were worked out in collaboration between the health authorities, the National Cultural Foundation and stakeholders in the entertainment sector such as those involved in the various Crop Over events.
One change doubles the period of time for which a rapid antigen test for people attending an event is valid.
The time period goes from 24 to 48 hours.
And another significant amendment allows performers at events to be either vaccinated or tested rather than both.
This now allows unvaccinated artistes to resume performing.
