This country’s hotel sector reports what’s describes as a tremendous winter season as the country rebounded well from the impact of the covid-19 pandemic.

But they remain concerned about the country’s overall marketing effort and the collaboration between Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) and Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated (BTMI).

Chair of the BHTA’s luxury category Karen Capaldi, speaking on the organisation’s program on Voice of Barbados, spoke of the need for a closer working relationship between the BHTA and BTMI.

Mrs. Capaldi says while traditionally the winter season does well, it’s important to put plans in place early to drive business for the summer period.
