Concern Over Omicron Fatalities Among The Elderly

Head of the Isolation Facilities, Dr. Corey Forde, is concerned about the significant number of deaths among the elderly due to the Omicron variant.

He stresses the importance of the elderly being vaccinated and boosted.

The Ministry of Health has been seeking to further explain its dropping of quarantine for people exposed to a covid-19 case, insisting it’s based on the science.

Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anton Best outlined the rationale during a covid update this morning.
