The police are investigating an apparent suicide at Dunscombe, St. Thomas last night.

Reports indicate a 17 year old girl was found hanging at the family home. She was discovered  by her 14 year old brother.

The parents are said to have summoned an ambulance but concerned that it was taking too long took the girl to a medical clinic where she was pronounced dead.

The police have commenced an unnatural death investigation.
