Belle Road collision triggers mass casualty response

Seventeen people have been injured in a collision between a route taxi and a truck that triggered a mass casualty response along Belle Road, St. Michael this morning.

The Barbados Police Service Communications and Public Affairs Officer, acting inspector Ryan Brathwaite tells Starcom Network News the accident occurred around 8:40 AM.

Meanwhile, an occupant of the route taxi who asked not to be identified by name gave her account of the accident.
