Customs brokers are warning of some delays following the temporary closure of Shed Two at the Barbados Port due to environmental issues.

The Port in a statement said that Shed 2 is closed to business today, as a result of an environmental issue which requires an industrial cleaning.

All appointments for the collection of personal effects today have been cancelled.

President of the Barbados Customs Brokers and Clerks Association Louis Forde says the closure will delay clearance of goods.
