One of the two men shot at Princess Royal Avenue in the Pine this afternoon has died.
The police have confirmed that the 31 year old man who had been shot in the head, passed away while being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The police say that at about 2:45 pm officers responded to a report of two men being shot at Hilton Row, Princess Royal Avenue, St. Michael.
According to the police statement, two males, one 31 years old and the other aged 36, were in the backyard of a residence watching television when gunshots were heard.
The bullets were fired through the paling structure of the residence , and one man was hit in his head and arm while the other man was shot in one leg. They were both transported to the QEH by private transport.
