“Crop Theft Crisis”, Declares BAS

The Barbados Agricultural Society believes crop theft is at crisis level in this country and supports farmers’ calls for increased state assistance with surveillance.

CEO of the BAS, James Paul, thinks the request is justified given the level of praedial larceny.

Mr. Paul was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a site visit at Queen’s Park in preparation for this year’s Agro Fest, the agricultural fair that takes place later this month.
