Government has made good on a promise to deal with the derelict vehicles and lots across the country and has this week commenced the removal of hundreds of cars and the demolition of dozens of run down properties.
Acting Minister of the Environment and National Beautification, Corey Lane, today provided Starcom Network News with an update on the program.
Mr. Lane says vacant lots will also be cleared.
Meantime, Sherwin Pinder, a resident of Parkinson Field, complains that his car was removed from his property yesterday and he plans to seek compensation over the matter.
He claims the car was parked since March this year after it was involved in an accident and was to be repaired.
