Update: School Girls Plead Not Guilty to Beating Charge

Four school girls pleaded not guilty when they appeared in court today accused of beating a female schoolmate of the Graydon Sealy Secondary School.

The incident occurred about 12 45 PM last Wednesday, May 31st.

The beating was captured in a video that made the rounds on social media showing the victim appearing to be seriously injured.

The accused girls whose ages range from 14 to 15 years old have been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

They appeared today before Magistrate Manila Renee in the District A Criminal Court.

Their case has been transferred to the Juvenile Court where they will appear on Tuesday June 13th.

They were released into the custody of their parents.
