The Barbados Agricultural Management Company has announced that 60 tons of sugar will be exported to Miami monthly, after an inaugural shipment was sent last month, a move that is expected to generate a significant profit for Barbados.

Speaking during a news conference this morning, Business Development Manager of the BAMC, Sherwin Greenidge says that the local sugar brand, Delsun sugar will be exported from Barbados.

Meantime CEO of the BAMC, Orlanda Atherley told media while he cannot reveal the exact cost of the sugar being exported, they are getting a higher value than before.
