Over A Hundred Officers Promoted as Commissioner Promises Battle Against Gun Crime

Over one hundred police officers have been promoted.

The Barbados Police Service promotion ceremony took place today at the District A Police Station at Station Hill, St. Michael.

Commissioner of Police, Richard Boyce called on the officers to play a greater role in the community.

He also told those appointed to supervisory roles that they will have a key part to play in combating gun crime.
