A call is being made for regulations to prevent food loss and food waste in the Caribbean.
This was from the Sub-regional Coordinator for the Food and Agriculture Organization based in Barbados.
Dr. Renata Clarke spoke to Starcom Network News in recognition of the International day of Food Loss and Waste observed on September 29th.
Dr. Clarke stated that planning is essential for food production to avoid food loss in all areas.
