An advocate for homeless people wants Government to create legislation, banning establishments from selling alcoholic beverages to homeless people who are already intoxicated.
Speaking with Starcom Network News Kemar Saffrey of the Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness explained that there are a high number of establishments in Barbados encouraging the practice.
He says the trend is a growing concern for his organization and he wants it to stop immediately.
Mr. Saffrey is calling on the Government to bring legislation to clamp down on the sale of alcohol to homeless people.
