Visits have been restricted to specific wards at the geriatric hospital at Beckles Road, St. Michael.
The Geriatric Hospital stated, in a press release, that there are experiencing a small outbreak of COVID-19 and will therefore be restricting visits to Units Two and Four, as a precautionary measure.
These units include wards 6B, 7B, 8B, and 10B, and wards 2B, 3B, 4B, and 5B.
The management of the Geriatric Hospital said it’s confident that this outbreak can be adequately managed as has recently occurred.
The public will be notified when visits will resume on these units.
