The President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Anthony Branker, has dismissed as untrue statements in a viral voice note alleging an imminent major shortage of goods internationally.

Mr. Branker tells Starcom Network News that while there are some international supply issues, there’s no crisis of the magnitude alleged.

Mr. Branker also says that, except in the case of one particular brand, Barbados was largely spared the baby formula shortage that affected the US.
