Health officials are reporting a significant increase in the number of people especially younger individuals who are being diagnosed with different types of cancers.

Nurse Manager of Ward C12 at the QEH, Lisa Dodson, tells Starcom Network News she is concerned about this increase and notes that colon cancer is on the rise in this country.

She was speaking following the presentation of a 10 thousand dollar donation from Cancer Support Services to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Clara Brathwaite Centre for Oncology.
