The private sector has been given permission to resume business tomorrow after being closed for two days due to heavy ashfall from the La Soufriere Volcano in St. Vincent.

The announcement has been made by Minister of Home Affairs, Information and Public Affairs, Wilfred Abrahams.

However, the airport and some government departments remain closed and the seaport will only handle containers of commercial cargo. Fish markets also remain closed but most vendors markets will be open. Polyclinics will be open as well.
