ASH ALERT FOR BARBADOS DOWNGRADED

The Met Office has downgraded the ash alert for Barbados as this country is spared the worst from this morning’s eruption of the La Soufriere Volcano in St. Vincent. Acting Director of Meteorological Services Tia Brown says the thicker part of the ash plume passed south of Barbados.
