The blaze which completely destroyed three houses and partially damaged two others, happened just after 5pm.

A heavy crowd gathered as fire officers from the Bridgetown and Worthing stations, worked to bring the blaze under control.

Police Public Relations Officer, acting Inspection, Rodney Inniss told reporters that lawmen are investigating.
