The staff of the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) return to work tomorrow after two days off the job over concerns about the positive COVID-19 test of a colleague and the protocols for work at the organisation.
President of the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW), Akanni McDowall, spoke to Starcom Network News following a meeting with NIS Director Jennifer Hunte and reports the matters resolved.
It was also agreed that the proposal to make the NIS a statutory board will be discussed with the NUPW. (SIB)
