Superintendent of Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds, Colonel John Nurse reports that the state of affairs at the prison is stable.
Addressing the media, he said over 70 officers had reported for rotational duty at the institution, where both inmates and officers have contracted the covid-19 virus.
In recent days, families of inmates had been complaining about a lack of information from prison authorities about their relatives.
Meanwhile, Dr. Carl Ward, a medical doctor within the ministry of Health, gave a covid-19 status report on the inmates and officers in the prison.
