The Local calypso fraternity was thrown into mourning this afternoon with news of the passing of Colin “Observer” Reid, well known for his 1991 hit Cat Attack that earned him third place in the Pic-O-De-Crop calypso finals.
Starcom Network News understands that after Observer wasn’t seen since last Saturday neighbors entered the house and discovered he had passed. His friend, cultural ambassador Dr. Anthony Carter, the Mighty Gabby was grief-struck.
Observer’s tent manager Eleanor Rice also paid tribute.
