Barbados has recorded another road fatality, a St. Michael man killed in a car crash on the Mighty Grynner Highway in the early hours of this morning.
The police say the accident which occurred about 12:55am  took the life of one male who was the driver and sole occupant of the motorcar registration XD 92, a black Mitsubishi Evolution driven by 27 year old Mark Gill of Strathclyde, Bank Hall, St. Michael.
The vehicle is owned by Michael Maynard of Shrewsbury Gardens, St. Philip
The car was said to be travelling in a northerly direction along the highway from the area of Holborn circle towards Walmer Lodge; when for some reason still under investigation the vehicle veered of the carriageway and collided with a tree. The driver died on the spot. Ambulance and fire rescue personnel responded to the scene.
