Leader of the Democratic Labour Party Verla De Peiza has criticized the Government for its proposed appointment of Juliette Bynoe-Sutherland as Executive Chairperson of the Queen Elizebeth Hospital.
Ms. Bynoe-Sutherland is the present chair of the QEH board and wife of Government Minister Dwight Sutherland.
In a statement, Ms. De Peiza described the move as an assault on the country’s democracy.
Ms. De Peiza wants senators to block the bill which would make way for the appointment.
