Minibus and route taxi owners are today expressing deep concern over the announcement by the Transport Authority of the cancellation of two public service vehicle permits and suspension of more than a dozen others with Chairman of the Transport Authority Ian Estwick serving notice that more suspensions are coming.

In announcing the crackdown Mr. Estwick said they were carrying out their mandate.

But route taxi owner Ian Walcott is among a number of owners worried about the development.

Mr. Walcott says there are also serious implications for the investment of the owners.
