UPDATE*

27-year-old Akeem Leon of 3rd Avenue, Mannings Land, Bank Hall, St. Michael has passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being shot multiple times last night in a drive-by shooting.

Leon was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the QEH sometime after 7 pm this evening Wednesday 3rd July 2019.

The Royal Barbados Police Force expresses condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the deceased. Investigations have now been upgraded to a Homicide investigation.
