Police have launched an investigation into the shooting death of 19-year-old, Jeremiah Jamilla Grannum of Woodland, St. George.
The deceased was reportedly involved in an altercation with several men. It resulted in the victim being chased by two masked men and a  number of shots were fired at intervals during the chase. The victim fell to the roadway at 5th Avenue, New Orleans. he subsequently passed away at the scene. Medical personnel pronounced death at the scene.
Police have cordoned the scene in its entirety we are at a sensitive stage of our investigations.
