Drowning victim unidentified

The Police are still probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was discovered yesterday evening at Browne’s Beach, Bay Street, in the area of the Old Pirate’s Cove.

The unidentified man was pulled from the water and a female beach goer administered CPR.

Personnel from the Ambulance Service were summoned to the area and they transported the victim to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

The man has been described as about five feet, eleven inches tall, of medium build, about 220 pounds and of dark complexion. He was dressed in a plaid beach pants and was bare back, and bare footed.
