Police personnel attached to the Criminal Investigation Department of the District ‘A’ Police Station, have arrested and formally charged Dwayne Omar Gittens, 35 years, of No Fixed Place of Abode with two counts of murder.
He is accused of killing contract worker Glenroy James and Nation Photojournalist Christoff Griffith on June 22nd at Bishop’s Court Hill, St. Michael.
He is scheduled to appear at the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27th 2020.
Cuffy-Sargeant ordered Gittens to undergo a psychiatric evaluation while on remand.
