Twenty-four honored with the Pride of Barbados Awards for St. Philip.

Twenty-four individuals have been honored with the Pride of Barbados Awards in recognition of their contributions to the parish of St. Philip.

Twenty-two of the awardees are from St. Philip, while two reside in the diaspora. The recipients are: Sylvester Alleyne, Glenville Blades, Shelley Blades, Jacqueline Conliffe, Hashim Estwick, David Forde, Winfield Forde, Earl Glasgow, Clandice Gooding, Neval Greenidge, George Griffith, Marion Hart, Selwyn Holder, Audrey Inniss, Algernon Jones, Esther Larrier, Anthony Lynch, Michael Mason, Maria Mayers, Verona Seale, Andrea Stoute, Ezra Stuart, Patrick Waithe, and Nigel Weekes.

Speaking on the sidelines, awardee George Griffith encouraged young people to give of their best noting the positive impact it can have on Society.
