Newly Appointed Senator Roshanna Trim Welcomed to Parliament

Government Senator Roshanna Trim officially joined the Senate today, replacing Chad Blackman, who was moved to the Lower House having been elected MP for James North.

During the welcome, President of the Senate Reginald Farley emphasized the importance of the new senator’s contributions, drawing a parallel to the “real debates” held in the youth parliament.

In response, Senator Trim, addressing the chamber, says she is grateful to serve the country in this new capacity
