Nelson Street residents are frustrated by the level of gun violence occurring in Barbados and are calling on the authorities to move urgently to address the matter.
The call came following a drive-by shooting just around 2:20 on Saturday. Police responded to the report of gunshots at the corner of Vine and King William streets.
Their investigations revealed that two houses and three cars were damaged during the shooting.
Several residents say they heard multiple shots from a high-powered weapon. They declined to comment on what occurred, but one resident expressed concern about the country’s judicial system.
