Cuthbert Moore Primary School has been closed from 10 am today due to environmental concerns.

According to the Ministry of Education, a foul odour led to tests being conducted and these detected sewage gases near the wells.

President of the Barbados Union of Teachers, Rudy Lovell wants a speedy resolution of the matter.

Meanwhile, officials of the Ministry of Education and representatives of the teachers’ unions have been touring the Grantley Adams Secondary School as investigations continue into a noxious smell which forced classes to be conducted online from September 23rd.
