14 charges for accused serial armed robber

A St. Philip man has been slapped with a total of 14 charges in connection with a string of armed robberies and other burglaries and has been remanded to Dodds Prison.

The accused is 23-year-old Raheem Belgrave of Farm Gardens, Six Roads, St. Philip who was shot by police and captured after he fired on officers.

His alleged crimes this year include two instances of aggravated burglary and unlawful use of a firearm on April 5th , possession of a firearm with criminal intent on April 9th,  two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, also on April 9th and burglary of Barbeque City on April 5th.

His alleged crime spree also dates back to last year and includes  aggravated burglary and unlawful use of a firearm on June 13th, aggravated burglary of Beijing Chinese Restaurant on that same date, and aggravated burglary and unlawful use of firearm on July 13th

He appeared before Magistrate Joy-ann Clarke at the District ‘C’ Magistrates Court today and has been remanded to Dodds Prison until his next court appearance on May 17th. 2024.
