Body believed to be missing woman found in well

A body believed to be that of missing woman Sonia Parris has been found in a well at Carmichael, St. George.

Starcom Network News understands the discovery was made after a man who was taking a stroll with his son and a dog detected a strong smell and contacted the police.

They were walking along a trail leading to Buckley Factory.

Police and fire service personnel are at the scene.

The body is believed to be that of 58-year-old Chefette employee Sonia Parris who was last seen when she left work after 10 p.m. last Wednesday.

Her car was found burnt in St. George.
