Cricket officials expect an influx of more than twenty thousand cricket fans into Barbados during June delivering a significant economic boost to the country as Kensington Oval hosts the finals of the Men’s T-20 Cricket World Cup.
Manager of Marketing and Communications at the Barbados Cricket Association, Steven Leslie, tells Starcom Network News that being awarded the finals was a big win for Barbados.
He notes the vast cross section of nationalities that will be coming in for the cricket.
