The Barbados Fire Service is seeking to recover a body from a well at Thorpes, St. James.

The well is located on the compound of the Caribbean Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.

The body is believed to be that of a man recently reported missing.

Acting Divisional Officer of the Fire Service, Wayne Vaughan, briefed Starcom Network News at the scene.
