Minibus and route taxi operators say the recent high-profile attempted armed robbery of one of their colleagues is just the latest in a string of such attacks on workers in the sector.
The operators at the Constitution River Terminal tell Starcom Network News that many of the incidents never come to the attention of the public.
One operator disclosed that he has been the victim of such a robbery while working and was shot in the process.
