Minister of Energy and Business, Senator Lisa Cummins, says a project to transform sargassum to bio-gas has the potential to transform the transportation sector.

The University of the West Indies launched the pilot project today to detect and collect sargassum for energy generation.

She says partnerships like this will help Barbados to achieve its renewable energy goals.
