Farmers report they are under severe pressure from high feed prices and the Barbados Agricultural Society is seeking to negotiate a special bulk purchase deal with Pinnacle Feeds on behalf of its members.

Pinnacle Feeds had served notice that the price of feed was continuing to increase due to international factors and government stated it was unable to continue the price subsidy.
