FEED PRICE INCREASE

FEED PRICE INCREASE

Pinnacle Feeds, the lone local manufacturer of animal feed, will raise its prices by an average of eight percent from the 15th March 2023 , likely triggering increases in the cost of local meat and poultry.
This follows government this month ending its price support aimed at keeping feed prices down.

The announcement was made today by Pinnacle’s Chie Commercial Manager, Denisha Mayers-Gardner, who says the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine coupled with strong demand from China and uncertainty over the supply from South America continues to push up their primary feed inputs, corn and soybeans.

Therefore, the prices have gone up effective immediately.
