The police continue to investigate the circumstances in which a young man appeared to have gone berserk yesterday stabbing several people in various locations and fatally injuring a female workmate.
The attacker is in custody and the injured, said to include a close relative of the perpetrator, are recovering from their injuries.
Starcom Network News understands that as many as five people may have been injured and that a concrete block was also reportedly used in the attack on the woman who was killed.
The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Joel Hope of Princess Royal Avenue, the Pine St. Michael.
The victim’s distraught mother Tracy Hope notes that the young lady was stabbed to death on her birthday.
A visibly distraught aunt Sherry Ann Baptiste says she was shocked to learn about the incident.
