A resurgence in covid-19 cases in Barbados continues with the positivity rate remaining around 20 percent for the past month.
The latest figures released by the ministry of health for the two-week period from December 24th to January 6th show 390 new cases recorded from one thousand, 888 cases.
This represents a positivity rate of 20.6 percent.
Covid-19 figures for the two-week period prior to that showed a positivity rate of 23.5 percent.
This is up from the rate of 16.7 percent for the last week in November and the first week in December.
The positive rate for the first two weeks of October was just 9.6 percent.
